Scotland born Sally Magnusson is writer, anchor and broadcaster working for Reporting Scotland as anchor of the program that is aired in BBC Scotland. In addition, she also hosts the show Tracking Your Roots in the frequency of BBC Radio 4. Moving on to her childhood, she is child of former and late presenter and author father Magnus Magnusson and journalist mother Mamie Baird. She was born in Glasgow and spent her childhood there.  She showed her great influence towards journalism as she got much influence from her media personalities parents.She completed her graduation from University of Edinburgh keeping English language and Literature as her major subject.  Soon after her graduation, she began her career as journalist in local newspaper of Edinburgh namely The Scotsman and later moved to another newspaper agency Sunday Standard situated in Glasgow.  She is also seen many times as long working host of Reporting Scotland which is news program based covering the news around Scotland which is aired on BBC Scotland network and she does the work with her colleague Jackie Bird and is also seen in programs like Panorama, Songs of praise which is liked by the people. She is awarded with honorary doctorate of letters from the University of Glasgow Caledonian for her amazing and brilliant work in the field of reporting covering all most all areas. As we have talked earlier, she is also an author and has written many books like Life of Pee: The story of how urine got everywhere. She also has written biography of Eric Liddell who is Scottish runner who denied running on the auspicious day of Sabbath due to his belief on Christianity. She also has written about the marriage and life about Jack Clemo who is a poet. She with the help of her husband wrote children oriented book namely Horace and the Haggis Hunter.
