1. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita - About $4.8 million

A car lover with a dream to own CCXR Trevita is genuine. Trevita is a Limited edition of Koenigsegg CCXR. Even though, the company planned to produce only three of its kind. Due to complexity, only 2 were produced. Trevita is rarest among them all.

This is a genuine question. CCXR Trevita is featured with a diamond weave carbon-fiber finish. With the advanced technology, Koenigsegg developed exceptional exterior finish, also known as Koenigsegg Proprietary Diamond Weave.

Additionally, it takes just 2.9 sec to reach 0-100km/h, with the top speed of 400km/h. It has dual supercharged DOHC V8 engine with 1004 horsepower. CCXR Trevita is the world’s most expensive, costing $4.8 million.

2. Lamborghini Veneno - About $4.5 million

Veneno means poison. Lamborghini Veneno looks deliberately poisonous from every angle that fills toxic inside your mind to own it. Automobili Lamborghini manufactured Veneno to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini.

Lamborghini Veneno is based on the Lamborghini Aventador and only five were produced. Among five, one is used for factory test, another kept for the company and only three were sold.  

In 2013, it was introduced and listed as the most expensive car. It looks stunning and is no less than alien spacecraft.

Lamborghini Veneno stunning looks and speed makes it the most expensive legal vehicle in the street. It goes 0-60mph in just 2.8 seconds. Its engine is an advancement of the Aventador's 6.5 L V12 with 8,400 rpm to deliver 740 horsepowers. In the current market, it cost around $4.5 million.

3. Lykan hypersport - About $3.4 million

You may probably recall this Lebanese supercar in Furious 7, that fall from three skyscrapers in Dubai. The Lykan Hypersports was manufactured by W Motors, a UAE company based in Lebanon. It works with the collaboration of Italian engineers and Lebanese, French.  

Lykan is the first supercar produced in the Middle East. Besides Furious 7, it also featured in several video games including Asphalt 8: airborne, Asphalt Nitro, and many others.

Why is it so expensive?

Lykan Hypersports headlights are embedded with titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds (15cts). It has gold stitching seats and buyers are free to make the selection of rubies, diamonds, and sapphires.

This supercar is powered by a 3746cc twin-turbocharged Flat-six engine with 780 horsepower through the rear wheel, developed by RUF. It goes 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds and has the top speed of 240mph.

At present, Abu Dhabi police are riding one of its kinds since 2015. Lykan Hypersports is one of the expensive cars, costing $3.4 million.

4. Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio - About $3 million

Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio is a tribute to Italian automobile designer, Sergio Pininfarina. Actually, Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio is a Ferrari 458 Spider with a unique exterior and interior. Only six were manufactured and is one of the most highly-coveted vehicles.

5. Pagani Huayra BC - About 2.6 million

6. Bugatti Chiron - About $2.5 million

Bugatti Chiron is developed and manufactured by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. It is an upgraded version of Bugatti Veyron. This supercar is named after Louis Chiron, Monegasque driver.

Chiron is Bugatti vision Gran Turismo concept sports car. It is assembled in Molsheim, France and designed by four different designers.

Why is it expensive?

Bugatti Chiron is well equipped with 8.0 L W16 with a quad-turbocharged engine that produces 1,500 horsepower.  It is fitted out with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

This supercar can accelerate 0-60mphn in just 2.4 seconds, better than any other car and has top acceleration speed of 288mph. But for safety, its speed is electronically limited to 261mph.

Recently, in 2017, the beast Chiron broke the record of fastest car recoding 0-400-0m/h in just 41.96 seconds. It is listed as one of the expensive supercar costing $2.5million.

7. Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta - About $2.2million

Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is a limited edition of the Laferrari. The company produced only 210 of its kind. However, 200 will be sold and 9 of them were reserved to distribute during Ferrari’s 70th-anniversary celebration.

8. Koenigsegg One:1 - About $2million

Koenigsegg One:1 is a limited edition supercar manufactured by Koenigsegg. Among all other supercars built by Koenigsegg, One:1 is more intensive as a track car. This is the world’s first mega car with 1341 BPH.

The company manufactured seven of its kind. Six of them were already sold and one was presented at the Geneva Motor show. In 2014, this car displaces alongside other super hypercars including McLaren P1 and Pagani Huayra.

9. Koenigsegg Regera - About $2 million

Koengsegg Regera is another limited version car of Swedish company Koenigsegg. This is a plug-in hybrid sports car unveiled at the 2015 Geneva motor show. Actually, Regera means to rule, as the company manufactured this car to rule the street as well as the market.

This electric rechargeable car is designed by Christian Von Koenigsegg. The company claimed that Regera is the best, fastest, and powerful car in the market ever.

12. Aston Martin Valkyrie - About $3 million

LaFerrari FXX K is the successor of the 599XX and the FXX. It was first manufactured by Ferrari in the year 2015 with only 40 pieces. The designers of LaFerrari FXX K are Marco Fainello and Flavio Manzoni in Maranello, Italy.  The total price of this supercar is $2.7 million.

LaFerrari FXX-K is inbuilt with the V12 engine and the HY-KERS system. It has the power of 1,050 PS i.e. 1,036 hp. Having the most effective downforce generation of 540 kg at 200 km per hour the car is extremely powerful.

Aston Martin Vulcan is the high-performance lightweight car with honorable status in the market. Manufactured by the Aston Martin it is a limited edition car with only 24 in numbers. It was first displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in the year 2015.

This track day car is a two-door wheeler with FMR layout. The engineering is done with the 7.0 liters V12 engine. The other special features of Aston Martin Vulcan include the 844 brake horsepower and 860 metric horsepower.

16. McLaren P1 GTR - About $2 million

There are different editions of the McLaren which also includes P1 GTR which has the worth of 2 million. McLaren has a long history of being a successful supercar producer and it announced the P1 GTR. It was first displayed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August 2014.

Why is it so expensive?

The P1 GTR only has the limited manufacture number of 58 units which is only available to P1 owners. It is stated that the P1 GTR is the most powerful McLaren available till date as the car is filled with the power of 986 bhp.

17. Hennessey Venom F5 - About $1.6 million

Hennessey Venom F5 from the Hennessey Special Vehicles assembled in Sealy, Texas, United States of America. The expected date of the car release is 2019. This supercar will be the company's first fully proprietary vehicle. It is named after the F5 tornado which is fastest on the Fujita scale. The selling amount of Venom F5 is $1.6 million.

The Hennessey Venom F5 is expected to be the world's fastest car recorded. It has the bespoke proprietary 7.4 liters twin-turbocharged V8 which is the first built engine of the company. The total power can be measured in 1,600 horsepower.

It is claimed that the total speed the car can generate is 301 mph which is 484 km per hour. There is also a prediction done that the car will be able to perform 0-186 mph under the time frame of 10 seconds and 0-249 mph under 20 seconds.

Fittipaldi Motors LLC HWA AG the manufacturer has announced the supercar to be released in 2018 (Expected). It is mid-engine sports car which is the first automobile by Fittipaldi Motors LLC. It was initially released for the video game 'Gran Turismo Sport'. The price of this car is $1 million.

Why is it so expensive?

Fittipaldi Motors has intended to build this car as light as possible with high power and high downforce design. It has a 4.8 liter naturally aspirated V8 and the expected to have 600 hp or above. This will go from 0-97 km per hour under 3 seconds.

The power of this 998 kg car will be generated by 6-speed semi-automatic transmission. The weight is carefully distributed, 48 down the rear and 52 up front. The body panels and monocoque are built with carbon fiber.
