Oprah Winfrey is an American show host and philanthropist widely recognized for hosting a talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show. The 64-years-old is an influential actress in the field of humanitarian. She became the first black person who made the list of 50 most generous Americans.
In 1998, the Us-born actress founded the non-profitable organization called Oprah’s Angel Network. Until 2010, the organization raised more than $80 million. However, the organization closed. By 2012, the 64-years-old donated around $400 million dollars to educational causes. She had offered about 400 scholarships in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to that, Winfrey also donated $10 million to help the victim of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. She is supporting around 29 charitable organization including ALS Association, Free the Children, Peace Over ViolenceFoundation, V-Day, UNICEF, World Food Program and few more.
