Kerry Jayne Elizabeth Katona, professionally, Kerry Katona is a British singer and media personality known for her TV work predominantly in reality shows and light entertainment. Best credit on her professional career journey is that she is member of ‘Atomic Kitten’, girls’ band. Additionally, she is a magazine columnist, actress and author of ghostwritten books including autobiographies and novels. She has been performing in pop, euro-pop and dance-pop genres. Even their record label, Innocent Records was also considering dropping the group due to their limited success but later allowed them to release one more song. The last chance for the group went to be lucky as they got their song ‘Whole Again’ at 1st place for four consecutive weeks in UK. The single became globally hit. Afterwards, she left the group being pregnant and the group brought Jenny Frost, former Precious singer in her place.
Getting married with Brian McFadden, she moved to TV work taking his surname. Firstly she appeared in light-entertainment programs like ‘Britain’s Sexiest…..’, ‘elimiDATE’ and ‘Loose Women’. In 2004, she became the winner of 3rd series of British reality television show ‘I’m a Celebrity…..Get Me Out of Here!’. That same year in July, she along with her husband appeared in judge panel of RTE talent show ‘You’re a Star’. In 2005, she had appeared in ITV show ‘My fair Kerry’ and Irish drama ‘Showbands’.
