The Siberian Forest cat is also known as the Moscow Semi-Longhair. It has its origins in Russia and is the national cat of the country. It is thought to be ancestral to all the long-haired cats today.
It began as a landrace but is now selectively bred. The Neva Masquerade is a colorpoint variant of the breed. The Siberian cat has an arch on its back.
- Height: 13 inches

This is attributed to the fact that they have longer hind limbs. These limbs are strong and they help with the cat’s agile jumping. The cat also has a large full tail and large rounded paws.
This breed of cats also has medium or large ears which are complemented by their large round eyes which make them have a permanent cute and sweet expression on their faces.
Their foreheads are broad and chests barreled. The cats often grow to a medium or medium to large overall build.
