Carla Lalli Music Bio & Wiki: Originally from the United States, Carla Lalli Music was raised in the family with huge reference for food. Her mother is a great cook, author and had been food critics at Simon & Schuster for most of her career.
Hence, coming from an Italian family where mom was a food influencer, Carla grew up eating incredible food and visiting restaurants.
And, that early exposure to food intrigued her lifelong longing of becoming food professional, which eventually started making sense when she spent a decade cooking in NYC’s restaurants.
Next, she spent two years, working for the original Shake Shack, where she had her first major director role.
With a prolific career spanning over decades in the hospitality and food industries, Carla currently works at America’s largest food/entertainment magazine, ‘Bon Appétit’ as a food director and columnist.
In addition to supervising the editing and development section there, she also appears in a series of Bon Appétit launched podcast called the ‘Bon Appétit Foodcast’, hosted by Editor Adam Rapoport.
