Bri Winkler is a meteorologist and weather reporter for ABC7 in the program eyewitness news.
Here are some facts on one of California’s favorite weather girl.
Winkler was born on October 25, 1988, in the state of Massachusetts. She is currently 31 years of age.
There are many speculations about Bri’s relationships but none are based on any sort of evidence. In early 2017, reports surfaced about her engagement aren’t verified yet.
This comes as a no surprise considering how secretive she is about her personal life. Her posts in social media are nearly all work related and aren’t remotely personal.
Now people safely assume that she is engaged. If I were you, I’d take that with a grain of salt.
However, one thing is for sure; Bri Winkler has never married and never had any children.
So, there is no husband in Bri’s life yet.
Bri doesn’t have her own Wikipedia page but there is a considerable number of websites where we can find her information.
As for her net worth, it isn’t available yet. On the other hand, Bri Winkler salary as a TV weather reporter is estimated to be around $120,000 per year.
She is in the network channel and it is no question that Disney’s daughter company ABC pays it’s staff handsomely.
All in all, she is doing pretty good for herself. She often travels around the world and posts her picture on social media. Without a doubt, Bri is living one joyful life.
As every joyful life, Bri’s has its own fair share of lows. In 2012, Bri suffered from a terrible headache. She went to the emergency room and they performed a CAT scan of her brain. Everything thing was clean; doctors prescribed some pain-killers and she was on her way back home.
After a week later, suddenly her body went numb. She began to slur her words. Additionally, she felt loss of hearing on one of her ears. Naturally, she called her sister for help and in turn, she called 911.
Bri, only after a week was again rushed to the emergency room, they performed the CAT scan again but this time the doctors saw the blood clot in her brain.
She was in the hospital for several days. Thankfully, the doctors recovered her fully and announced that her brain fine as well. She went home after a week.
Bri Winkler is a college graduate from the University of Miami. She majored in Marine and Atmospheric Science.
Her first TV job was as a weather reporter too. She joined a TV station called KMAR-TV in Amarillo, Texas.
In June of 2011, she started working at ABC7 in California. However, there was some controversy around her hiring. A relatively experienced weatherman, Kyle Hunter filed a lawsuit against the Channel accusing them of Sexism and Ageism.
As per him, though he was more experienced for that job, he was not hired because the channel was looking for a “young female”.
After her life-altering event, Bri is more focused on raising awareness about the stroke. She became the ambassador for the American Stroke Association.
Currently, she has left the TV to pursue higher education in Environment Study.
