Arthur Labinjo Hughes's biological mother's name is Olivia Labinjo Hughes, and his stepmother's name is Emma Tustin.

Thomas Hughes is the father of Arthur Labinjo Hughes, and he is 32 years old. Thomas is from the United States, and his weight is about 155 lbs.

Arthur Labinjo Hughes was six years old when he was murdered, and his stepmother was 32years old.

Olivia Labinjo-Hughes, the boy's biological mother, was sentenced to 18 years in prison after stabbing her partner last year while under the influence of alcohol.

After his mother, Olivia Labinjo, was convicted of manslaughter in 2019, Arthur had been in his father's full-time care.

Why Did They Kill The Child?

The child was discovered in cardiac arrest by paramedics, who could resuscitate him and transport him to the hospital, where doctors noticed 'severe bruising, all over his body,' and testing proved he had been 'poisoned with salt,' according to prosecutors.

After suffering two more cardiac arrests, Arthur was admitted to intensive care, but physicians determined that he could not be rescued, and he died later that night.

Arthur was 'physically and verbally abused; secluded, access to food and drink was limited or restricted, he was deprived of basic life amenities; a bed, clothing,' jurors at Coventry Crown Court heard.

In June 2020, Thomas Hughes, 27, and his partner Emma Tustin, 31, are accused of killing little Arthur Labinjo-Hughes by inflicting an "unsurvivable brain injury."

After his skull was "banged repeatedly on a hard surface," Arthur Labinjo-Hughes suffered an "unsurvivable brain injury."

A few months before he died, the youngster and his father moved into Tustin's home, but prosecutor Jonas Hankin claimed there was "no clear evidence of Arthur staying in that place."

Tustin photographed Arthur being punished and provided more than 200 audio recordings to Hughes.

Tustin is accused of assaulting Arthur while caring for him at her home in Solihull, West Midlands, and photographing him as he died.

Despite holding her phone, she did not call 999 until 12 minutes later, telling medics that he had headbutted her and then 'banged his head another five times' on his own after collapsing and banging his head.
