Her father was an executive of Armonk-centered multinational company called IBM while mom was employed in a bank.

Her younger sibling, Charlotta followed the footsteps of Annika pursuing a career in golf who now mentors at her elder sister sports academy.

Currently 48-years-old, Annika had developed an interest in sports such as tennis, soccer, and ski since her early days. Having got smitten with each other, the couple got engaged at 1995 Evian Masters within a year after sparking romance rumors. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Lake Tahoe which has a breathtaking view amidst close friends and family.

But following irreconcilable differences, the couple filed for divorce after 8 years of marriage in 2005. Four years later, Annika remarried son of retired golfer Jerry McGee and managing director of ANNIKA brand Mike McGee in Orlandoโ€™s Lake Nona Golf & Country Club.
