Co-founding American hard rock band Halestorm in 1997, she recorded a song “Don’t Mess With the Time Man” as a lead singer when she was sixteen. Since then, she has been rocking the stages as a lead singer of her band. She has also worked with several renowned artists including Lindsey Stirling, Eric Church, Adrenaline Mob, Black Stone Cherry and Machine Gun Kelly.

Hale performed “Familiar Taste of Poison” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on 21 July 2010. She has also performed with Myles Kennedy on the Alter Bridge Fortress tour. Similarly, sang “Break” by Halestorm in 2012 Carnival of Madness tour alongside Amy Lee, lead singer of Evanescence.
Halestorm arrived of “Jaywalking” segment on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on 5 September 2005. She has also sung remaking version of the Shinedown’s “Shed Some Light” for Us and Them album. The song was played live during one function by Hale and Brent Smith of Shinedown.
In 2013, she appeared alongside David Draiman on the cover song “Close My Eyes Forever” by Device as well as on “Forget About the Blame” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Halestorm performed with Ronnie James Dio on 29 August 2009 at House Of Blues which was his last show. The band has also recorded “Straight Through the Heart” for Dio honor album Ronnie James Dio This Is Your Life.
Hale has also performed at the CMT Music Awards and CMA Music Festival with Eric Church. In 2016, she recorded a voice for Faythe for rerecorded and curtailed version of the album “The Astonishing” by Dream Theater.
In December 2009 edition of Revolver magazine, Lzzy Hale was featured on the cover as one of the “Hottest Chicks in Metal” with Landmine Marathon’s Grace Perry. Thereafter, she has been frequently appearing in magazine’s Hottest Chicks calendar or on its “Hottest” list.
