Jaymee Sire is having a whopping career, she didn’t have to roam over after being let go by ESPN. Initially, she was offered a job by Food Network as she left the sports channel.
After practicing reporting and anchoring at WSU Cable 8, Jaymee Sire began her professional career with KRTV in 2002 in Great Falls, Montana. In KRTV, she worked as news and sports presenter as well as a reporter.
Later, she moved to KFMB-TV, San Diego and worked for five years. From 2005-2006 at KFMB, she became a sideline reporter for preseason broadcast of San Diego Chargers.
In 2008, Sire joined Comcast SportsNet Bay Area as a host and reporter for SportsNet Central. She also reported for Giants Pre Game Live as well as Giants Post Game Live. Later, contributed to the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s and San Jose Sharks match as a sideline reporter. While at Comcast, she also created and anchored A day in the Life: Tim Lincecum.
Leaving CSN Bay Area, she signed up for ESPN in 2013 and started to work for Highlight Express as an anchor. On 5 May 2013, she joined ESPN’s SportsCenter and also helped in the launching of SportsCenter: AM for the channel in 2016. While in ESPN, she appeared in various shows including NFL Live and Fantasy Football Now. Sire also contributed as sideline reporter of Little League World Series in 2013, 2014 and 2015 respectively and also for 2014 College World Series.
Being a part of 100 layoffs of ESPN in April 2017, she turned to food channel, Food Network. She showed up on Beat Bobby Flay’s episode 13 of Season 12. She also appeared on season 13 of Food Network Star as a judge in a ‘game day’ themed challenge. The channel named Sire as a floor reporter for Iron Chef Showdown on 25 July 2017.
Jaymee Sire won Emmy awards while at CSN Bay Area and got nominated twice. She received a San Francisco/Northern California Emmy Award in 2009 for the show All A’s: A’s.
