Extremely handsome and fiercely intelligent Charlie Rose born on January 5, 1942 is an American television talk show host and journalist. He’s currently employed as the host of self titled interviewing show “Charlie Rose” since 1991. Native from Henderson, North Carolina, Charlie is the only child of his parents, Margaret and Charles Pete Rose. As he grown up, he helped his father in their family business. Later, he attended Duke University as a pre-med student but an internship at the office of Democratic North Carolina senator B. Everett Jordan got him interested towards politics. After graduation, Charlie started his career at Bankers Trust. While continuing his work, he was approached by WPIX-TV as a weekend reporter. Charlie’s work impressed Bill so much so that just after a year later, he promoted Charlie as executive producer of Bill Moyers Journal. His work later got him promoted as the correspondent for PBS political magazine series “A conversation with Jimmy Carter”. One of the installment of the series helped Charlie earn a 1976 Peabody award. But despite his impressive work and growth, he left his job.
