Brighton Sharbino | Biography
A recurring role in one of the highest rating series on American television is definitely a huge achievement for any aspiring actors. Such is the case of twelve year old American actress, Brighton Rose Sharbino, who was seen in the role of Lizzy Samuels in The Walking Dead. This young talent was born on August 19, 2002 and when she turned six she appeared in her first role on television.
Brighton has been receiving amazing response from the fans of the series that she has appeared in. She has been remaining connected to her fans through means of social medias which has helped her be present in the show business even if her character was sadly killed off in the post apocalyptic drama series, The Walking Dead. Brighton’s siblings are also in the show business. The Flower Mound, Texas local is the sister of another young actress Saxon Sharbino. Her elder sister has made appearances in movies like I Spit on Your Grave and Trust Me and was a regular cast member of Fox series Touch. The sisters appeared in the 2010 movie Cool Dog. Their brother is also a child actor who has worked on a few films.
Since her arrival in The Walking Dead for its fourth season, Brighton has been much talked about in the series fandom. She was seen as the innocent looking but deadly Lizzie Samuels who along with her little sister Mika Samuels is taken under the wing of Carol Peletier, played by Melissa McBride, after their dad gets bitten. She quickly became the season’s one of the most intriguing new addition. Kyla Kenedy who plays Lizzie’s little sister Mika, also auditioned for the role of Lizzie but Brighton got the role and Kyla was given the role of Mika, who interestingly was supposed to be a male character but was adapted into female for Kyla to play. Brighton and Kyla’s scenes were natural and memorable as they were already familiar with each other. They are friends in real life and also attended the same school. After their characters were killed off on the AMC thriller, Brighton moved to ABC to appear on an episode of the fantasy series Once Upon a Time as the younger version of the villainous snow queen who is played by Elizabeth Mitchell. She appeared in the Season 4 episode The Snow Queen. The fans of Brighton might also recognize Brighton on the crime investigation series NCIS as the tween version on Abby Sciuto who is played by Pauly Perrette.
