Bobbie Diane Eakes is a popular American television and film actress. She is a familiar face in American television who has been appearing on television since 1986. She is mostly recognized for her portrayal of Macy Alexander of the television drama series, Bold and the Beautiful. She was also a regular cast on the family series All My Children. She was born on July 25, 1961.

Bobbie Eakes was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, America.  She shared her parents with four sisters. She is also a skillful singer who has an inborn talent of singing. When she was sixteen, she began singing in a band. In 1982, she won the crown of Miss Georgia and a top ten finalist of Miss America in 1983. She is married to actor and author, David Steen. They wedded in 1992 and have been together since. They don’t share any children till date.

Bobbie was educated at the University of Georgia. She began her acting and singing career simultaneously. She began appearing on television on minor roles in nighttime series such as Matlock, Jake and the Fatman, Falcon Crest, The Wonder Years. In the 1980s, she also started to be known as the lead vocalist of Big Trouble. The dance group debuted in 1987 and was able to enter the top 100 US chart. In 1989, she guest starred in Full House and 21 Jump Street. She made a breakthrough appearance on television from the drama series Bold and the Beautiful in 1989. She was on the show for over four years playing the character of Macy Alexander. She also hosted a few shows on Great American County channel. In 1999, she made an appearance for the birthday of Swedish royalty, Viktoria in Sweden as a singer. She continued to appear in guest roles in series like Doc, JAG, Days of our Lives and Land’s End. In 2003, her character on Bold and Beautiful was killed off because she was scheduled to appear in another television series, All My Children on ABC. She played Krystal Carey on All My Children from 2003 to the series finale in 2011. She also appeared on another series One Life to Live in 2004. Her two most popular series, The Bold and the Beautiful and All My Children, got her nominated for several awards including two Daytime Emmy Awards for All My Children. She was nominated for Soap Opera Digest Awards for The Bold and the Beautiful in 1992, 1994 and 1999. In theatre, she was seen in plays like Love Letters and Cinderella in Los Angeles. In 2008, she appeared in two episodes of Sordid Lives: The Series. Over the years, she appeared in three movies: A Gift From Heaven, Choosing Matthias and Charlie’s War.

Bobbie Eakes is equally if not more famous for her singing than she is for acting. She is actually a double platinum record selling singer in Europe. In addition to acting and singing, Bobbie is much interested in painting. She paints when she has time off her busy career. She also enjoys running which has contributed to her slim figure over the years.
