Amy Robach is an American correspondent and News anchor. She is best known for her show ‘Good Morning America’ for ABC News. She previously worked as a co- anchor for NBC News.

Family and personal career

Born on February 6, 1973, in East Lansing, Michigan, United States, Amy Robach spends her early childhood in St. Louis, Missouri and Georgia. Later, she moved to South Carolina, Washington, D.C. and the New York area along with her parents.

She attended Brookwood High School located in Snellville, Georgia. Later, she enrolled at the University of Georgia and honored with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. In 1994, she became the 4th runner up in a beauty pageant, Miss Georgia.

Amy Robach married Tim Mcintosh, baseball player, in 1996. Prior to marriage, the couple dated for a while and got engaged. In 2002 and 2006, the couple was blessed with a daughter named Ava and Analise. Later, their relationship tastes bitter. So, they divorced in 2008 after 12 years of togetherness.  

Few year later, Amy Robach married Andrew Shue, founder of website CafeMom. The couple got engaged in 2009. A year later, on Robach’s 37th birthday, the couple got married. Around 120 guests attended the couple’s wedding ceremony. The couple is raising five children; two daughters from Amy’s former marriage and three sons from Andrew's former marriage

In 2013, Robach revealed on ‘Good Morning Show’ that she has been diagnosed with the breast cancer. She also revealed that it almost ruined her married Life with Andrew Shue. Breast cancer diagnosis almost dragged her into emotional chaos. Cancer nearly destroyed her new married life with her husband Andrew Shue. Through therapy, she had successfully recovered from cancer. She had undergone through six months of chemotherapy and reconstruction surgery.

Professional Life

Amy Robach began her career with NBC News. She served as a host of two hours morning shows. After working for 4 years on NBC, she moved to WTTG in Washington, D.C.  In 2003, she returned to NBC News. From 2007-2012, she served as a co-anchor of morning show Weekend Today.

Additionally, she has also appeared in Countdown with Keith Olbermann and Morning Joe. In 2012, she switched to ABC News. At the beginning, she appeared as a correspondent on morning show Good Morning America. Later, she was named News anchor of Good Morning America in 2014.
