Born on May 4, 1985, in Marietta, Georgia to her father Robert and mother Diane Gustafson. She completed her high school graduation from North Springs High School at her hometown. Later, she enrolled at the University of Maryland College Park and honored with a Bachelor degree in Theater in 2004.
Hawk married to Bryan Spies, former Bouchon Bakery's employee in New York, in 2009. Currently, her husband is serving in New York-based Fire Department.
